Day 132 Barcelona, Spain

I went ashore today with Ed & Becky to explore a bit of Barcelona.  We first headed out to Parc Guell to see the work of Antonio Gaudi.  His avant garde architecture is showcased all over Barcelona with the Sagrada Familia being one of the greatest attractions.  We toured around the city viewing some of the most amazing architecture we have seen to date.  There are amazing balconies everywhere….  We left our driver at the Cathedral Santa Eulalia which was incredible, inside and out.  To top it off we took the elevator up to the roof for breath taking views.  Then we headed to Las Rambles, one of Europe’s most celebrated promenades.  A thunderstorm sent us inside for some food and drink which was a nice break.  Then it was off again down Las Ramblas all the way to the Christopher Columbus monument.  We took a elevator to the top for some more tremendous views.  What a day!!!!
