Day 82 Sydney, Australia

Today we sailed into one of my favorite places, Sydney Australia….  This is truly one of the most scenic harbors to sail into around the world.  The only disappointing thing was that we would not be docking at Circular Quay across from the Sydney Poera House but back in Darling Harbor instead…. How did that ever happen?  Anyway, I digress….  Today Ed & I hooked up with our old Aussie pals Robert & Bronwyn.  They took us north to see some of the northern beaches up arounf West Head like Palm Beach… lovely.  We had a great view up on West Head and even encountered a 6 foot Lace Monitor lizard….  Very cool.  We also took a great hike, after lunch, up to the Barrenjoey Head Lighthouse… fabulous!  It was just a very special day spent with great friends.  We certainly miss them aboard the ms Amsterdam.  Tomorrow morning I will meet up with Frank & Barbara Davis at Circular Quay when their ship arrives…..
