Day 52 Montevideo, Uruguay

Today was a very nice visit to Montevideo…  It is a lovely place and is much more comfortable than our last few days. It’s amazing how much more you can relax when the threat of crime is lessened.   I spent the day taking a walking tour of the city before returning to the port area to have lunch with Allan & Sandra.  Luch was simply amazing.  I spent the last few hours of the afternoon poolsie since our days of warm weahter are numbered.  We have two days at sea as we make our way to the Falkland Islands and the….. Antarctica!

  3. The River Plate looks very choppy in your photos, so there must have been a strong wind blowing!! Montevideo is a relaxing city to visit. It reminds me of Vienna for some odd reason.
