Day 17 Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

What a wonderful day….  Much to my surprise people were very slow to head ashore this morning.  I arrived on the island on the first tender.  It wasn’t even full, go figure…  Anyway, I went for a log walk, taking photos and soaking up the sun.  Aart came ashore around 1030 and we headed for the new bar, Captain Morgan’s.  I was watching them build this last year so it was nice to see it complete.  It is the one shaped like a big ship.  Nicely done!  Of course I didn’t want to stay inside the bar for long soooo, after a couple of drinks we headed out for a walk, taking more photos.  We headed back to the ship around 12:30 for lunch.  I then parked myself at the pool.  It was an amazing day!!!!  The tan is starting to come along…  Tonight I will be dining in the Pinnacle Grill with Aart, Willem and Renee, the Spa Manager.  It promises to be a fun evening.  Tomorrow is a day at sea.  I won’t even attempt to go poolside.  I will try and find a spot on the top deck (deck 10) forward.  Way too many people and kids…..

  1. Beautiful pictures once again. I had a bit of a chuckle when I saw the cannon pointed to the ship.
