Day 1 Embarkation, Long Beach California...

The day finally arrived….  I am back home on the Amsterdam.  It felt so good to be back with the Amsterdam family.  Aart & I boarded the ship around 11:30 and immediately started running into friends.  I was really good for Aart.  He and Yvonne had so many friends here and the welcome was pretty overwhelming.  The day was mostly spent visiting and then the task of unpacking was awaiting me.  I brought so much stuff that I’m not sure when I’ll be done.  Losing an hour tonight doesn’t make it any easier…..  Oh well, no big rush.  I guess I don’t need my Antarctic clothing for the Caribbean….  I had dinner with my friends Brad & Gloria which was highlighted by having my favorite waiter from Bali, Made…..  Great evening!  Now, back to the unpacking……..

  5. great that you consider amsterdam your family. I think kim left to go home for awhile? So she won't be there. But the rest of your family is there, right? Good luck and looking forward to the new read
