Day 6 Sedona, Arizona (Part 2)

We left Holbrook, AZ this morning bright and early and headed for Sedona.  We decided yesterday that we would go to Walnut Canyon National Monument on the way to Sedona.  They have 2 trails there, the Island Trail that goes to the Canyon floor and the Rim Trail that goes around the rim.  We decided to do both trails starting first with the most strenuous, the Island Trail.  There are many cliff dwellings here and some you can go right in to to see what's inside.  It was a great visit and we even loved seeing a couple of little critters along the way.  I did a separate post for Sedona (Part 1) that appears before this one....  Tomorrow is another day in Sedona.

  2. Do you think any of the cliff dwellers walked in their sleep? Thanks for sharing America with us. Do you keep a bee in your pocket for photo ops. As always, nice pictures.

  3. Sleep walking would be a big problem.... No, I don't carry a bee... actually, I am alergic to them.
