Colorado Roadtrip Day 11

We left Clarkston Washington this morning after a great visit to Hells Canyon.  We headed out toward Enterprise thru the Wallow-Whitman National Forest.  We were heading for the Wallowa Lake Tramway in Joseph Oregon which climbs from 4000 ft to 8150 ft at the top....  The views from the top of Mt Howard were magnificent!  Then it was off to the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway with a special stop at the Hells Canyon Overlook....  Then we followed the Payette River scenic route, passing the Cascade Reservoir as we made out way to Boise Idaho.  It was another beautiful day with magnificent scenery.  Tomorrow will be more dramatic scenery as we make our way thru the Sawtooth National Forest and the Craters of the Moon....
