Colorado Roadtrip Day 5

Today was another great day.....  A lot of today was focused on positioning for the next big hitter, Yellowstone.  We left early this morning heading for the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument.  The ride along the way was, as it has been on this trip, very scenic.  Love it here...  Anyway, it was off to see the monument.  The monument is meant to honor all who fell here.  There are monuments honoring the Indian Tribes as well as the Calvary.  It is really a lovely setting with stops along the way outlining events of the battle.  It looks, at times, like a sea of yellow from the prolific Hairy Golden Aster plants that grow here... great color.  It was a wonderful visit....  We then headed for Red Lodge Montana where we will spend the night awaiting an early morning departure over the scenic Beartooth Highway on our way to Yellowstone.
