Colorado Roadtrip Day 4

Well, well....  another wonderful day!  It was out of Rapid City early this morning, heading for North Dakota and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.  The scenery along the way was fabulous, rolling hills of farmland.... just beautiful!  The Theodore Roosevelt Park adventure started with a stop at the Painted Canyon Visitor Center and the views.... just amazing.  At times it felt like I was at the Badlands National Park in South Dakota.  Just can't get enough of those Badlands.  The day was just perfect....  The scenery here is great, don't know why that this is one least visited parks...  It was also a chance to see some more wildlife, prairie dogs, Bison, longhorn sheep, feral horses...  After spending the day at the park it was off to Montana....  Glendive for the evening before heading to the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and Red Lodge.  Monday will be Yellowstone....

  1. Love the prairie dog shots! Am following your trip with interest as you are going to some of the national parks that I haven't been to yet. If you find any great places to stay along the way, will you mention them? Thanks!
