Colorado Roadtrip Day 12

We left Boise Idaho early this morning heading for Idaho Falls....  However, we had important business along the way.  First up we traveled the Ponderosa Pine scenic byway thru the Boise National Forest to Stanley...   Beautiful ride!  Next we headed from Stanley thru the Sawtooth National Recreational area via the scenic byway.  On the way we we through Ketchum, Sun Valley & Hailey.  Then we headed west to the Craters of the Moon National Monument.  It looked alot like the Volcano's National Park in Hawaii....  Pretty rough terrain but lovely nonetheless....  Then we made our way to Idaho Falls for the night.  Tomorrow is Grand Teton National Park.  Oh by the way....  I am remiss!  Yesterday we averted a near disaster....  While on the Wallowa Lake Tramway in Joseph Oregon our tram was halted during our transit.  I know how theses things go so I immediately started my emergency planning.  I spent a considerable amount of time looking at our location, terrain and means of escape.  We didn't panic, just continued exploring various emergency responses.  We waited and waited and fortunately after an excruciating amount of time our car began to move.  We waited (I kept the time) for over 82 seconds before we were finally out of danger.... close call!
